Field Service Technician


The Field Service Technician provides technical services and solutions to maritime and industrial customers. As an AME team member, you work independently (at times with a team) to solve problems and provide technical solutions for rotating machinery per the customer's service requirements. The field service technician will write condition found/service reports and will learn how to write more extensive reports as their career at AME progresses. Qualified candidates will have mechanical aptitude and strong written/verbal communication. This job position requires 25% to 50% of travel per year. Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal communication. Must be willing to work some nights and weekends (overtime pay).

Welder / Fabricator


The Welder/Fabricator will assist in developing the company's welding department and maintaining welding equipment. He/She will handle welding that is included in job scopes, inside the machine shop, and in the field. Tasks will include welding metals and spare parts in various directions: flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead, etc. He/She will dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools; therefore, they must have a mechanical aptitude, willing to do mechanical work when assigned. The Welder/Fabricator will also assist in preparing labor budgets/estimates, developing timelines and material requests for projects. The ability to read, interpret, understand and apply drawings and blueprints to jobs at hand is required. Pipe fitting is a plus. Experience on marine vessels is preferred but not required. This position can expect 10%-25% of travel per year.


Field Service Engineer (Maritime)


The Field Service Engineer provides our technical services and solutions to marine and industrial customers. As an AME team member, you work independently (at times with a team) to solve problems and provide technical solutions for rotating machinery in accordance with the customer's service requirements. The Field Service Engineer is required to have strong mechanical aptitude, written/verbal communication, and the ability to verbally communicate technical issues with the customer. Qualified candidates must have experience writing technical/engineering service reports. Required, 4year degree in maritime/mechanical engineering and must be fluent in English, both written and verbal. This job position requires 25 % to 50% of travel per year. Office Manager


The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing office staff, managing office operations, and maintaining office records at both AME office and site locations. Ensures that staff follows the company handbook in adhering to policies, regulations, and requirements. Handles routine Human Resources duties including updating job descriptions, posting open positions, initial screenings of respondents, and benefits administration. Also oversees employee file maintenance, disciplinary actions documentation, performance improvement plans, and training certifications.Serves as primary support to the CAO In a follow-up on her schedules, shared calendars, special projects, job fairs, and marketing activities.

Requirements -

  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar position required.
  • Strong knowledge of Human Resources Management.
  • Strong knowledge of A/P and A/R and Accounting principles.

Operations Services Manager


The Operations Services Manager oversees all engineering and technical services provided by AME's projects, ensuring accuracy and quality from start to finish. The Manager also works with the Technical Projects Supervisor to develop engineering solutions for marine and industrial clients while overseeing safety programs to ensure compliance. As a member of the AME leadership team, this position provides technical guidance and solutions for rotating and reciprocating machinery in the industrial and maritime industries based on customer requirements. Overall, the Operations Services Manager is a crucial member of the team responsible for delivering successful and safe projects.

Requirements -

  • Bachelor's degree in marine engineering preferred or Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in the marine services industry.
  • Must have 3 to 5 years of Project Manager experience.
  • Must have 3 years of experience managing a marine service team.
  • 3 to 5 years of Safety Program Administration experience required.

AME Summer Internship Program

Two Open Spots for Summer 2024

AME offers a few summer internships annually for college students who are interested in working in the marine and industrial mechanical engineering field. Interns will be able to get an inside look on day-to-day activities led by AME's experienced Field Service Engineers/Technicians and Shop Team while having the opportunity to have hands-on training by joining in on numerous jobs during the duration of the summer program. Eligible interns who have successfully completed the internship can have the opportunity to transition to full-time employment.
