Accounts Administrator
The Accounts Administrator supports the Staff Accountant and the Office Administrator by handling bookkeeping and various financial and clerical tasks. Key responsibilities include assembling, reviewing, and coding vendor invoices, entering credit card receipts, preparing A/P reports, tracking processed work, and cutting checks. The role also involves setting up client net terms, and preparing invoicing for customers. Essential skills for this position include attention to detail, strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, and effective communication. A bachelor's degree in accounting is highly desired, along with proficiency in Quickbooks, MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Two years of experience is required. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States and possess a valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Field Service Technician
Seeking field service technicians with strong mechanical aptitude and experience in dynamic balancing, optical and laser alignment, and vibration analysis of rotating machinery, as well as knowledge of inspecting and replacing equipment vibration isolation mounts. Position requires independent ability to use state of the art vibration monitoring, laser, and optical alignment equipment. This position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift heavy objects and conduct onsite repairs in tight spaces on vessels. Candidates must be confident in communicating with clients and producing technical reports. Training on all equipment and processes will be provided. Must possess or be able to obtain a US passport and travel domestically/internationally. Position requires 25-50% travel, as well as working extended shifts and occasional weekends.

The Welder/Fabricator will assist in developing the company's welding department and maintaining welding equipment. He/She will handle welding that is included in job scopes, inside the machine shop, and in the field. Tasks will include welding metals and spare parts in various directions: flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead, etc. He/She will dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools; therefore, they must have a mechanical aptitude, willing to do mechanical work when assigned. The Welder/Fabricator will also assist in preparing labor budgets/estimates, developing timelines and material requests for projects. The ability to read, interpret, understand and apply drawings and blueprints to jobs at hand is required. Pipe fitting is a plus. Experience on marine vessels is preferred but not required. This position can expect 10%-25% of travel per year.

AME Summer Internship Program
Two Spots Open For Summer 2025
AME offers a few summer internships annually for college students who are interested in working in the marine and industrial mechanical engineering field. Interns will be able to get an inside look on day-to-day activities led by AME's experienced Field Service Engineers/Technicians and Shop Team while having the opportunity to have hands-on training by joining in on numerous jobs during the duration of the summer program. Eligible interns who have successfully completed the internship can have the opportunity to transition to full-time employment.
