Junel is an AME Field Service Engineer with a comprehensive background and knowledge in diesel engines, including performance, repairs, maintenance, calibrations, troubleshooting, overhauls and failure analysis. He started as a Cadet Engineer for Monark Equipment Corporation, the Caterpillar dealer in the Philippines in 1994, gaining extensive experience on the Caterpillar 3600 barges (3616×39) and land based installations. In 1997, he was aggressively recruited to join the dealer in Nicaragua to support the CENSA Power Station with 3616 x 9 and Cat CM32 X 4 engines as technician. Caterpillar International Power System (CIPS) then took him on as the Site Engineer. CIPS then passed this contract to Energy International, Inc. where he retained his position. He later joined Machinery and Energy, Limited in the Bahamas in 2006 as a Service Technician, gaining additional experience on Cat 3500 and 3600 Marine and Industrial applications.

In his current role at AME, he continues to expand his experience in laser and optical alignment, vibration analysis and performing state-of-the-art Windrock Diesel Analyzer Surveys that provide for more in-depth analysis of diesel engine performance.
