Welcome our new team members!
AME is growing! We're proud to introduce our newest team members: Christian, Minas, Giam, Marcos, and Ingrid who have joined since last fall 2023.
Christian is one AME's Field Service Technicians. He brings plenty of experience from relevant positions in different organizations. Before joining AME, he served as a Field Service Supervisor at Wabtec Corporation. In this role, he specialized in retrofitting and warranty work for passenger trains, with a strong emphasis on safety procedures and product reliability. At Crystal Movers Services, Inc, he demonstrated proficiency as an Operations & Maintenance Technician, specializing in Airport Sky Rail systems from Mitsubishi Heavy Industry. During his time at Hitachi Rail USA as a Production Supervisor he oversaw the precise assembly of passenger trains. We're glad to have him onboard!
Minas joined AME as a Field Service Engineer. Prior to being on the AME team, he was a junior associate engineer at a cybersecurity company as well as a mechanical engineer intern for a ship management business. He completed his undergrad with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at SUNY Maritime College.
Giam also joined AME as a Field Service Engineer. Before AME, he was a junior engineer for a cabinet manufacturer in Florida. He has two Bachelor of Science degrees gained in Venezuela, one with a concentration in ocean engineering and the other in maritime engineering.
Marcos is AME's shop custodian who comes from a local shipyard where he was for 28 years. Having this experience made him the perfect fit for the AME team! We're so glad to have him onboard.
Finally, Ingrid is AME's Officer Administrator, is an experienced operations and sales leader specializing in marine diesel repairs, parts/services, and customer support. With a background in enhancing operational performance, optimizing sales processes, and improving customer satisfaction, she excels in team leadership, strategic planning, and performance enhancement. With nearly two decades of industry experience, Ingrid has successfully led sales and operations teams, leading to achieving significant milestones. She has held managerial roles at Wartsila and MSHS Group, focusing on parts/services, sales support, and operations. We're proud to have her onboard!
