Vibration Analysis On A Turbine Pump
AME headed to Martin County earlier this week to perform a vibration analysis on an overhauled two-part turbine pump. The customer was experiencing a great deal of vibration when operating the pump higher than 2430 rpm, only 70% of its maximum power. We detected resonance caused by piping stress after collecting and analyzing the vibration data with Pruftechnik - Americas VIBXPERT II and OMNITREND center.
