PEA Luncheon Presents JA Sea The World, Maritime Storefront with a $5,000 Donation

PEA luncheon in December, the Port Everglades Association proudly presented us with a $5,000 check for Junior Achievement of South Florida. THANK YOU, Port Everglades Association, for your incredible generosity!

This donation will help fund an exploratory field trip to Port Everglades for a Career Bound day with high school students from pre-apprenticeship programs at Junior Achievement of South Florida. 

The Sea the World Maritime Storefront at JA started in 2018 by Megan Lagasse and I, and it's truly turned into something special—setting a standard and building a movement around the nation for many more pupils to become familiar with the maritime community and join our workforce! This wouldn’t be possible without our amazing partners below, and supporters like PEA.

Five of our commercial maritime partners were present at the luncheon, including MPT-Lisa Morley, King Ocean-Charles Gittens & Kim Highsmith, CBI-Patrick Collins, AME-myself, and MIASF-Patience Cohn.
