New River Middle & Junior Achievement of South Florida - Speaker Series

Christine Battles, AME & Sean Smith, MIASF participated in New River Middle’s Speaker Series, a collaborative panel with Junior Achievement of South Florida. They spoke to over 100 students in the 8th grade about their journey into the Marine Industry and some of the challenges they had to overcome. They also touched on the importance of soft skills and proper workplace etiquette to be successful. The same students will have an opportunity to visit the JA Sea the World Storefront during their upcoming field trip to JA South Florida.
