Industrial News: Keeping Operations Smooth with Vibration Analysis at a Water Reclamation Plant
Regular equipment maintenance is the backbone of efficient operations, and Advanced Mechanical Enterprises (AME) recently played a vital role in ensuring the Water Reclamation Plant remains in peak condition. Through a comprehensive vibration analysis, resonance testing, and noise level assessment conducted on critical machinery, our experts have provided valuable insights to maintain and optimize equipment performance.
During the evaluation, a wide range of essential plant components were analyzed, including Tanks ME-21DR001 to ME-21DR004, Channel Monster Grinders, Screw Pumps, Vertical Turbine Pumps, the Bioscrubber, and the Motor Washer Bar Screen. The findings were reassuring: the majority of the equipment is operating within acceptable vibration and noise thresholds, ensuring minimal wear and tear.
While the equipment was largely evaluated as “ACCEPTABLE,” some recommendations were made to ensure continued reliability and prevent future disruptions. These include periodic vibration monitoring, reinforcing motor bases, and performing precision alignments to address minor issues like pulley misalignment or soft foot conditions.
