Industrial News: AME's Use of FARO Vantage for Diagnosing Crane Wheel Bearing Failures

In collaboration with a consulting partner, we are conducting detailed measurements of crane wheel assemblies and rail configurations, both under load and without, to pinpoint the causes of wheel bearing failures.

Our recent project involved a comprehensive 3-D geometric survey of the crane's four wheels and two rails across six scenarios—analyzing the equipment with and without containers in the home, middle, and end trolley positions.

The insights gained from this evaluation are crucial in identifying and solving the issues affecting the crane's performance.
