AME is proud to sponsor the Atlantic R2R rowing team, who are embarking on an expedition. The team will row unaided for an astounding 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean, beginning in La Gomera, Canary Islands, and arriving in English Harbour, Antigua, within 35 days as part of the challenging Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge.

The Atlantic R2R team's primary objective is to help raise funds and awareness for two critical mental health support organizations: Rock 2 Recovery UK and the Sailors' Society. These organizations provide vital mental health support to current serving and veteran military personnel, blue light services, and seafarers worldwide.

R2R aims to make a positive impact, especially during crucial times. Drawing from their unique experience, they understand the importance of quick preventive measures, specialized coaching, and assistance. They also provide short and long-term support to veterans transitioning out of service, addressing brain injuries and mental health issues related to their service.
