AME Investigates Excessive Vibration on an Industrial Grinder

AME was called to investigate the excessive vibration on a malfunctioning industrial grinder. After completing a vibration analysis to diagnose the problem, we aligned the motor to the grinder sheaves with the Prüftechnik Group VibXpert II.

After that, we performed a two-plane dynamic balancing process that ensured the grinder rotor’s weight was evenly balanced. Now, the grinder is fully operational again!
