AME Attends Port Everglades Association Luncheon Featuring FMC Chair Laura DiBella

AME attended the Port Everglades Association’s monthly luncheon this month, a standing event in the South Florida maritime community held on the first Friday of each month.

Led by Lori Baer, the luncheon consistently brings in strong speakers and industry perspectives. This month’s program featured Laura DiBella, recently appointed by President Trump as Chair of the Federal Maritime Commission.

Her remarks offered insight into the responsibilities of the role and the direction of the Commission moving forward. It was also a well-attended event, with a full room of maritime professionals, partners, and colleagues.
