3D Survey Reveals Vessel Deformations Post-Grounding

We recently performed a 3-D Geometric survey of individually staged Z-Drive Components as well as port and starboard mating flanges on the hull of a commercial vessel to identify any deformation. The ship had recently grounded, and we were called in for inspection.

The survey included detailed measurements of flatness, parallelism, and perpendicularity on planes of interest, as well as diameters and runouts on all bores/cylinders.

Our thorough inspections and measurements were essential to identify and address any deformations resulting from the vessel's grounding incident.
