Danilo is a Machinist by trade and is highly skilled in repairing pumps. In the AME shop, he is responsible for welding and fabrication. Prior to joining AME, Danilo worked as a Machinist and Welder at some of South Florida’s largest steel fabricators, with a specialized focus on ships and marine vessels.
Mark is a proud member of the Advanced Mechanical Team and brings 23 years of welding experience in the marine industry to the company, 13 of which can be attributed extensively to Naval and Coast Guard Vessels. He received his formal training at the Newport News Shipyard where he attended welding school. In his spare time, Mark uses his welding expertise to create stainless steel sculptures which can be viewed on Facebook at MarkGriffin Sculptures. Additionally, he is the inventor of the Griffin Clip, an anchor pulling device.
Edward joined the AME team in 2011 as a Mechanic. He was formally trained at McFatter Technical Center where he graduated from the Marine Mechanics Program in 2005. Since then, he’s worked extensively on recreational marine vessels of all types and sizes. Now, having joined Advanced Mechanical, Edward is expanding his skill set and expertise by gaining experience in the various industries the company serves as well as the specialized technologies it employs.
Braxton joined Advanced Mechanical’s Shop Team in 2011 as a Welder. His prior 4 years of experience was marine-focused as he trained in an apprenticeship and worked at a prominent South Florida marina. Braxton’s specialties include combo welding in stainless and aluminum. He’s currently training for expanded certifications in his field.
Humberto is responsible for the overall maintenance of the AME Shop and offices. Additionally, he assists the welders and machinists with welding and fabrication, particularly for AME’s industrial clientele. Prior to joining AME, Humberto worked in trucking and construction for over 20 years. In his native Cuba, Humberto worked as an accountant in the nation’s Health Department.
